Award Winning Synthesizer App "Animoog" Comes to BlackBerry 10

 Animoog for BlackBerry Z10 - YouTube-000396

BlackBerry 10 is really getting some solid music creation tools with the latest being the award winning Animoog. Animoog is a synthesizer app from Moog Music that is popular on iOS and a big player to be supporting BlackBerry 10 especially before Android. They are running a promotion offering the app for an intro price of $0.99 after which it will go up to $9.99. It seems like a few readers are having issues getting the app so we held off mentioning it but others seem to be working just fine. Let us know if you pick up Animoog in BlackBerry World.

  1. Comes to the Z10, not BB10 😉

  2. With the wireless HDMI, split screen and wireless controllers that are arriving, BB10 is poised to be the top entertainment device in addition to being the top business device.

    • Split screen?

On the one hand, I’m glad they’re focusing on Gamers (they have been from the start), as this is where they can make money selling more devices, but I don’t find the new devices to be top business devices yet. The Hub needs work and they need to upgrade their email app to support features we’ve come to expect from such an app. Not being able to manage identities per example only makes sense for IT controlled ActiveSync or BES accounts in large enterprises, not for SMEs using IMAP.
