Tuenti Social Network App Released for BlackBerry 10 (Q10 & Z10)

We told you earlier that Tuenti was bringing their social network and real time messaging app to BlackBerry 10. It was released earlier this month allowing you to connect with friends on quite a few platforms. I was not aware of the popularity of Tuenti since it is no Facebook or Twitter but the Spain based social networking is staying true to targeting students and young people.

Check out Tuenti free in BlackBerry World for both the Q10 and Z10

  1. Such a weird app…

SMS registration fails half the time and the list of countries is in spanish. After the walkthrough, I ended up with an interface in Spanish, which makes the app unusable to me. Same on the web.

Checking their privacy policy you find out that by using their app, you allow them to spam you by any means necessary:
“When you check the box on the registration form, you are also giving your express consent to receive information from TUENTI by means of the private social network Tuenti, messages sent to your email account, SMS messages, MMS messages or calls to your mobile phone, or mail by post”

The last 2 are pretty bad…
So don’t forget to unsubscribe by sending them an email

  2. Yeah I didn’t get past the SMS part
