BlackBerry OS 10.1 Includes Korean Keyboard Input Support

Korean BlackBerry Q10

Since BlackBerry 10 launched I have been hearing users ask me if Korean language inputs are supported. Sadly at the launch of the Z10 the input was not available though I think you could read Korean. Now with the latest BlackBerry 10.1 OS I am happy to report that Korean language is supported. It even offers the same keyboard natural language prediction. (Thanks Gene for helping confirm this)

Now Korean users just need Kakaotalk to come to BlackBerry 10.

  1. Nice to see that both Hebrew and Arabic are also fully supported as input languages, too.

The only input language missing is Japanese as BlackBerry is not planning on releasing devices there. You can read Japanese and other Asian formatted emails of course.

  2. It’s okay when they not releasing in Japan, but what’s with the people that try to chat to Japanese people? All the third party apps sucks..
I love my z10 But this is stupid to hell…

I hope that they will think about it, this way is not buisness and hyper connected like…

    Greetings Sada
