I always love hearing what analysts have to say as long as you take what they say with a boulder of salt. The latest speculation comes from Jefferies Peter Misek who stated today that "The build plans have steadily been increased since February," for the Z10. "Our Asia checks indicate that the builds have recently increased from 2M/month to 2M+.” He also said that his checks show the return rates in the US are “typical” and "Overall, our checks indicate typical return rates. Of the few phones that were returned, the only main commonality we found is that buyers thought the Z10 had a keyboard. As it does not, they returned it and will buy the Q10 instead."
Misek also said (via StreetInsider) that there are 2-3 more BlackBerry 10 devices coming this year. That includes a mid-range keyboard device for ~$400 (R-Series), a mid-range touch model, and a 5” Z10-like device scheduled for a year end launch. The rumor mill is going to be fun today… 🙂
