BlackBerry Q10 gets Android App Support

android-q10The Inside BlackBerry Developer Blog just posted some great news.  The Q10, which we are patiently awaiting the release of has been given Android app compatibility.  You can now port your existing Android apps to work on the Q10.   Check out the full story here!

    And, I didn’t know that was new news on the Q10.
    I hope we get the apps that are on the Z10, now that would be nice…

    • We knew the Q10 was getting android support, but externally we didnt know if the z10 ports would work. Which now we know they wont. We will need to port apps individually and get them tested… leave me a lot of work on AndroidBars.net

  2. Since we can be pretty positive we will never see a native Google Play on BB10 (heck you can’t even get it on Kindle Fire), what I think would be awesome is Amazon AppStore on BB10. Then I could buy an app or game once and use it on my Fire, my Droid, or my BlackBerry. I’d rather not pay Rovio 3 times for Angry Birds after all…. ;)

    • I’d like to see more Google apps in the store rather than having to sideload -. Although it’s very easy to sideload. . Definitely would like to see a Google Now app or a BlackBerry equivalent.
