I really wish BlackBerry gave us more solid info than a launch “in coming weeks” but it is something. BlackBerry confirmed in a press release today that 13 top shelf BlackBerry 10 apps are coming shortly though some are apps they have mentioned before. The list sadly does not include Pandora but Apollo is doing nicely so far. Still here is the list:
CNN, The Daily Show Headlines, eBay, eMusic, Maxim, MLB at Bat, MTV News, Pageonce, PGA, Rdio, Skype, Soundhound and Viber
We are hearing a few dates scattered around April and May for these apps so keep a sharp eye out for them as they roll out!

Even if they aren’t intially, more and more will be over time. Blackberry just need to keep working on making development simple.

Most newer services will only be released on iOS and Android, usually starting with one only, because the startups simply don’t have the resources to make them available on more platforms.
That’s why you start seeing copycats and lame launchers on BBOS and BB10. It takes some digging to find a good replacement, but they do sometimes exist.
