Alicia Keys is moving on to the next player in her BlackBerry Keep Moving project with much lauded filmmaker Robert Rodriguez (El Mariachi, Desperado, Spy Kids, Sin City). He started today to create an unfinished three act short film called “Two Scoops.” He will be using his BlackBerry Z10 to invite aspiring filmmakers over social media to collaborate and create different story elements for the film. It is using Green Screen tech and will be finished in post production when all the online submissions have been reviewed. One contributor will be selected to be featured in each act with smaller ones throughout.
Here is how Rodrigues describes "Two Scoop”
"Two Scoop” is an action packed story about twin girls who run an ice cream truck and just happen to be giant monster hunters in their spare time. Beginning today through April 3rd fans can upload a film of themselves acting a certain part in the movie or share a photo to be featured as one of the "missing townsfolk" in posters dotted throughout the film. More information about how fans can submit to the project and about the storyline of "Two Scoops" can be found on the BlackBerry Keep Moving Hub.
I love the absurdity of the monster hunting ice cream truck owners. I can promise you one BerryReview team member is going to love it! Check out the trailer below or all of the details here:
