OtterBox has continued their longstanding support for BlackBerry devices with the BlackBerry Z10. They just released the new Defender line case for the BlackBerry Z10 offering some impressive protection. The Defender case has a two piece inner shell along with a built in screen protector and outer silicone slipcover. It also comes with a swiveling belt clip holster.
Check out the Defender case for the BlackBerry Z10 for $49.95 on OtterBox.com. Hopefully they bring their Commuter an other case lines soon!

Is it me or did they screw this one up? It doesn’t look like there is any space at the bottom for your to get the bezel and do swipe ups.

So, it’s stay away from this one.
Funny how they got the PB’s right but messed the Z10′s…

I have the z10 and the defender case. Swipe from bottom seems to work OK – not as much room as without the case, but enough to be functional. Just requires you to be a little more precise with where you start the swipe.

Otter box just made the z10 ugly. I wouldn’t be caught with that on it!

Had the Defender installed on the Z10 and lost all functionality with the swipe to unlock, swipe to close and swipe to hub. Basically, anywhere that I had to get to the edge of the screen to make a swipe, I couldn’t. Checked at the local phone dealer and they returned all of theirs for similar problems. I think this one is a miss.

I just purchased the otterbox defender for the z10 and am having the same swipe problems. So frustrating that I had to remove it from the phone. I also contacted the otterbox people and have not received any response
