One of the gestures I really wanted to see in BlackBerry 10 was the ability to easily select multiple items by touching the start and end points on the screen. Mackie was digging through the on device help for BlackBerry 10 and spotted an interesting entry in the “using the touchscreen” entry. As you can see above BlackBerry describes how you are able to touch two points on the screen to select all the items in between. Sadly this is not available now but it looks like it is coming soon! I cannot wait to stop having to tap and hold then click the select more button.
Also worth noting is that Mackie told me that older version of BlackBerry 10.0.9.x does not seem to have an encryption option under the “Security & Privacy” menu. I can confirm on my BlackBerry Z10 running OS 10.0.10.261 I have the new menu option below that allows me to encrypt the on device data and also the external SD card if I wish:

I’m hoping Blackberry dvelops a shortcut to deleting emails/texts, such as swiping accross the bottom bezel.

I have been dying to find one. The Menu->delete is getting old fast.

@kiddo
yeah that’s basically it, i’d actually prefer it pop up as in OS7 but the same functionality is there (Though i prefer BB10′s “Share” functionality)
