Automatically Sync Your BlackBerry 10 Pictures & Video With Box.net

One of the coolest integration features of BlackBerry 10 is how nicely it plays with cloud storage. I have been using Dropbox so far but Terrence pointed out to me that Box.net is offering a few more features on BlackBerry 10. The BlackBerry 10 Box.net client offers you the ability to sync your pictures and/or your video to Box.net automatically. It also lets you choose if you want it to happen over the cellular network or only over Wi-Fi. It integrates with the built in file manager just like DropBox and works beautifully. The other added boon is the ability to send a file easily to Box.net using the “Share” menu.

If you are not already a Box.net user you can try and still get in on their 50GB free for life promotion here. Otherwise you do have the 10GB free promotion for BlackBerry 10 which is still pretty sweet. Sadly those of you who currently have a Box.net account cannot be automatically upgraded to a 10GB account but that is expected to be added in the “coming months.” More details here.
