Update: It seems like Google has gotten their service back together again. Let us know if you are still having issues!
I heard from a few readers that they were having issues with BerryReview in their Google Reader this morning so I did some digging. It turns out that Google is having a serious issue going on with all of their Google Reader users where the whole system seems to be broken. Articles you read months ago are showing back up and the whole thing seems wonky. It doesn’t make a difference where you are, what client you are using, or what feed you are viewing.
If you are also frustrated you can throw in your two cents on their “Something is Broken” customer boards for Google Reader or just follow the havok on Twitter. Supposedly their team is working on it so I am hoping for a quick fix. Right now it is barely usable. We will update this post when it comes back up.

Thank you for posting about this. I thought mine was the only one that was acting up, hopefully they get this issue fixed soon.

I like Google Reader but I also don’t depend on it. My backup RSS reader is Outlook so maybe its a good time to also have a Backup web or Desktop RSS reader.
