As promised BlackBerry has launched the BlackBerry Z10 on time in the UAE today. According to TheNational the devices arrived at select stores at 10PM last night to launch today. Etisalat is one of the first carriers to say they will be carrying the devices but all main UAE carriers are getting it for around Dh2,599. The only downside is that there seems to be a limited supply. Here is what TheNational heard from retailers:
Retailers said interest in the new phone was strong despite a relentless migration of consumers to Apple and Samsung phones loaded with apps and high-resolution screens.
“There has been a good response because a lot of customers are waiting for something new and this platform is radically different,” said Nadeem Khanzadah, the deputy general manager of retail at Jumbo Electronics.
