Update: We are hearing reports that this is not a legal copy of the game. We are trying to get in touch with the developers to verify and have reported it to BlackBerry.
Easy Software Solutions has ported their popular online multiplayer game UniWar HD from Android to BlackBerry 10. Their free strategy game now allows users to play other players on Android, iOS, and BlackBerry 10. The gameplay is like checkers or chess with way more options and possibilities. There are also notifications so you know when it is your turn.
Check out UniWar HD free in BlackBerry World. Kudos to BBCool for spotting it!
You can get an idea of the gameplay in the video of the Android version below:

So, is there any proof, the devs (TBS Games) know about this?
Easy Software Solutions have Android apps from various developers on BlackBerry Word. When the devs of the game Hitachi found out about theirs being one of them, it was removed and Easy Software Solutions seemingly suspended for some weeks from BB World.
They already had UniWar HD (btw a paid app on Android and iOS) back then uploaded for PlayBook. And there is still no mention on the website of TBS Games for either the PB or BB10 version.

I don’t see any reason not to suspect that Easy Software Solutions is just another guy grabbing Android APKs and uploading them as BARs without contacting the original developers.

I HIGHLY doubt this is a legitimate copy. I worked for the company that developed this game long ago. They have since closed their doors.
I dont know who owns the rights, but I doubt it is “Easy Software Solutions”.

This is illegitimate.
TBS Games is the current owner of UniWar and never entered in any contract with Easy Software Solutions.

Just talked to the owner and this is “totally unlegitimate”.

I just emailed BlackBerry about it and posted a note at the top of this article until it is resolved
