Rogers Canada Sending Out BlackBerry Z10 Shipping Notifications

 Rogers shipping

We have received multiple confirmations from readers that Rogers has started shipping out their BlackBerry Z10 devices. They are sending out both emails and SMS messages for their preorders. I know the official date is February 5th but it seems like they are arriving in stores sooner for preorder but will only be available February 7th!

Here is one of the emails they sent out:

Dear __________________,
Great news! Your device is on its way.
We just wanted to let you know that the Blackberry Z10 Black you reserved is on its way to the store in a box with your name on it. At your request, your device is being shipped to:
Rogers Authorized Dealer BC Wireless Solutions
North Vancouver, BC
Shipments should arrive within four days. These are your tracking details so you can confirm when the delivery will arrive at the store:
In some cases, the device will be shipped to one of our distribution partner’s regional warehouses before it gets to your local store. We recommend you wait until you hear from a store representative, who will call you to confirm when it has arrived in store.
Please note: the store will hold your Blackberry Z10 Black until 2/7/2013 on your behalf.
If you do not pick up your device by this time, the store will be free to make the device available to the next customer. Please ensure you bring appropriate identification so they can verify that you are the primary account holder.
The reservation fee of $40.00 + taxes will now be credited back to your Rogers invoice next month.
For questions about the Reservation System, review our FAQs.
We hope you enjoy your new device, thank you for your valued business.

  1. Yay! Just got my email! I understood the message to mean that Feb 7th is the last day to pick it up and it will likely be Feb 5th when we are notified to come in.

  2. are the white z10 really 100$ off ?

  3. 2 things…1) Rogers reservation process clearly states they will hold the phone in store for 7-Days once they receive it…the meaning behind that is that they will arrive at stores tomorrow and 7-days later in store would be Feb. 7th…so most likely we will get word on them arriving tomorrow.

    2) I called Rogers Customer Service and asked two different people and clarified with them that the White Z10 will be apart of the Winter White-Hot Promotion, thus giving it potentially an additional 100$ off the phone…

the $139.99 is the base contract price for 3 years…its limited time offer is only 10$ off as all other carriers are offering it for 149.99 on 3 years…so thats what the limited offer means, and it is still eligible for the promotion as well!

    • Thanks for the clarification Mark. I have spoken with a few more Rogers people who have also confirmed the $139.99 price point.

It is quite reasonable I guess. I was expecting them to start at $199 on a 3yr. The promotion confused me a bit though because it seemed like the white phones should be less than the black.

  4. I got nothing so far. :-(
