Leaked Training Slides Show Some of the Refinements in BlackBerry 10

 BB10.ppt-000050

I was flipping through the Rogers training slides that CrackBerry leaked and while there was nothing crazy new in there I did spot some interesting details. For example, they state that the calendar auto suggests meeting participants and collects related messages and participants social updates. Best of all it remembers you participants from previous meetings along with subject lines. That way when you create a new meeting it suggests attendees based on previous meetings. Talk about a learning OS!

BlackBerry Remember is another example. They confirm it syncs to evernote and lets you organize photos, webpages, email messages, and more with due dates added to your calendar. You can also sync to Microsoft Outlook To-Dos. They also show us more of how BlackBerry Remember will look:

  1. I love all the features of BB10, however I feel they could do more with Active Frames. 1. They could increase the number of apps displayed to 10; 2. They could allow you to select 4-5 apps to be background apps that are always on and allow the app info to be displayed on the lockscreen: eg. Sport scores – Scoremoble, Weather – Accuweather, Stocks, Music – Slacker, News – Ap News etc., to allow immediate access. 3. Make active frames more interative – scroll through news, songs, feeds etc.
