BlackBerry 10 File Manager Integrated Online Storage Shown Off (DropBox)

One of my favorite features in BlackBerry 10 is how the OS natively deals with remote storage. We already know that it will connect with Box and DropBox but the best part is HOW it connects. The native file manager simply shows Box and DropBox as a separate but integrated drive on BlackBerry 10. You can also compress files without needing a third party app. BB10Believe managed to score a bunch of screenshots of the File Manager in action. Check them out below:

I am really hoping SugarSync gets their act together and releases their own integration. On top of that I still want to see how BlackBerry 10 handles network shares…

  1. Please support Windows Offline files!

  2. There is probably an API for devs so they can add SkyDrive, Sugar Sync, and Google Drive.

I use Files & Folders on my PlayBook, so I hope those devs will write other great software for BlackBerry.

  3. Would the microSD be considered part of Device, or maybe they hadn’t installed one at the time of the screenshot -?

  4. WebDAV should be included in the list and maintained by RIM. It’s used by so many providers.
