Quite a few of you were excited when RIM released BlackBerry Messenger v7.0.1 in the Beta Zone earlier this week. This new beta promised improved performance along with opening the door to OS 5.0 devices. The problem was that many people had issues downloading it. RIM has now sent out the “All Clear” and the downloads have been fixed for BlackBerry Messenger 7.0.1. You can pick it up now in the Beta Zone if you were having issues earlier.
