I am not sure if we have seen this before but David pointed out that the latest Telekom-Presse article on the Z10 also stated the weight and measurements for the BlackBerry Z10. The best part is that their BlackBerry Z10 clocked in as weighing just a bit less than the BlackBerry Bold 9900. Here are the specs for the BlackBerry Z10 according to Telekom-Presse:
BlackBerry Z10
Weight: 125g or 4.4 ounces
Dimensions: 129mm x 65mm x 8 mm or 5.07in x 2.56in x 0.31in
That is pretty impressive if you consider that the BlackBerry Bold 9900 weighs 130g, the iPhone 5 weighs 112g, and the Samsung Galaxy S3 weighs exactly 133g.
Oh and the best part is Telekom-Presse reporting that:
One straight away – the operating system BlackBerry 10 is the most modern and progressive, which will be starting in February on the market. Four simple gestures are enough to the Z10 fast, reliable and easy to operate smoothly than anything is what you find on the market so far.It recalls in this respect to Nokia’s MeeGo.
The performance is excellent, as you can convince yourself in the video below. Everything is running very smooth and soft.
PS: We should note that there is no confirmation that this is the final device but if not it is pretty damn close.

I love their comments on the Z10: “BlackBerry 10 is the most modern and progressive (OS).” That is sweet for others to see! We BB fanatics already know that BB10 is fresh and sexy!
I think RIM must have struggled a bit with BlackBerry being harder to use than Android and iPhone so they used a similar app screen with some nice improvements!

The article actually says 125g, but your conversion to ounces is correct at 4.4oz

Thanks Simon for catching that. I think I was getting confused with the conversions.

Just like Thor said, “ours will be thin and light too, except we won’t make you get new cables or connectors”
