Leaked BlackBerry 10 Voice Control Screenshot Shows Call, Search, & Appointments

BlackBerry 10 Voice Command

We know that RIM is working on a voice control solution for BlackBerry 10 to rival the competition. We saw signs of it all along the way but RIM has still been very coy about its features. Adam @CrackBerry spotted this latest leaked screenshot that shows off some of the features. This includes the ability to make a call, send a BBM, send a message, book an appointment, and search the internet. Nothing super fancy but these are just the basic examples. Something tells me RIM has more of that AT&T Watson tech behind the control mechanism. I just hope they changed the voice prompt to something better than “say a command!”

  1. I’d really like RIM to take the voice control on mobile devices to another level like QNX has done with cars. Voice control should be deeply integrated with the system to open any app, use navigation, lock/unlock phone, turn off phone, play media selected songs,

  2. here is my burning question for BB10, does it have autotext? I know that the text predication is supposed to be the greatest thing since sliced bread but that is a different beast. So does anyone know? can you program your own custom abbreviations into the keyboards dictionary?
