I was about to type that Car Jam is a simple game, but after trying it out…ya, it’s not. Which is the point of a puzzle game I guess. Car Jam has you controlling the flow of multi-colored vehicles that come in a steady stream from some unknown rainbow suburbia.
The first few levels actually are fairly simple. You swipe the direction you want the vehicle to turn at the next intersection and it obeys. Your objective is to get at least 8 of the 10 cars into their color coded destinations while collecting stars to unlock more levels.
When traffic lights are thrown into the mix, things get crazy pretty quick. There is a toggle switch on the bottom right of the screen that changes the lights from red to green when you tap it.
Don’t let the cars crash or you gotta start over. I’ve also found that my level progress is deleted if I exit and restart the app. I’m hoping this is: unique to me (since app world reviews look fine), going to be fixed soon, or possibly a feature reserved for the paid version. Let us know if you have the same issue.
Go ahead and try it out for yourself and let us know how far you make it! Also, see if you can spot a funny spelling error somewhere in the game. I told the dev about it already so it might not last long.
