New BlackBerry 10 Icons Show Up in Two New Demo Videos

 BlackBerry 10 Icons

RIM has confirmed but not yet released their newly revamped icon set for BlackBerry 10 to developers on their Dev Alpha but that has not stopped them from showing it to the world. Tamas @berryblog.hu let me know about this video below showing the icons and Piotr @BBNews.pl spotted the second one. Check them out below:

  1. on the right track

  2. Yeah icons look much better. Jan cannot come quick enough.

  3. I know it’s a dev alpha running an unfinished OS but that swipe in from the bottom has got to work EVERY SINGLE TIME WITHOUT FAIL when it goes to production. i’m a HUGE BB 10 fan but just watching this guy struggle (as Vivek did on stage before) with the swiping in from the bottom makes me cringe. CRINGE.

Thorsten has said many times that he doesn’t want to release and unpolished product and the first thing i’m looking at when i get my L series is the swipe in from the bottom. I know it’s a dev alpha b with the ‘lip’ and whatnot, but still, when you’re giving demos and stuff you need that stuff to WORK and IMPRESS those that you are demonstrating for.

    • It works well on the final device. The reason it’s buggy on the dev alpha B is because run put a bulkier case over the bezel of a preproduction London device that covers too much of the bezel. The dev alpha A doesn’t have that problem because it doesn’t have that added boxy bezel. RIM is just trying to hide design
