I always enjoy reading interviews with Thorsten Heins especially now with the ramp up to BlackBerry 10. There is so much we know or is rumored that Heins hints to in these interviews or masterfully skirts issues that used to trip up RIM’s previous CEO’s and founders. The latest interview I found was on CNET where my friend Jessica Dolcourt interviewed Heins on how he plans on winning back users with BlackBerry 10. It is a great read and hints to many of RIM’s strategies for BlackBerry 10. This includes hints to BBM Video and RIM dominating the QWERTY market along with growing using the touch market. Oddly left out was battery life and LTE but hopefully those come packing a punch too!
Check out the full interview over at CNET and let us know what you think!

I’m on the fence about waiting for rim’s bb10. I might be using a wp8 device before they get to market. But i know I’d miss my qwerty.

As much as I love the amazing keyboard on the 9900, the BB10 virtual keyboard looks outstanding. With the predictive text, swiping words up from the next letter, swiping to delete a word, and learned typing preferences (where you hit the key), I would argue that it could be better. We shall see
