With BlackBerry 10 devices expected to come in February it is no wonder that manufacturers have started working on it. Industry watcher Digitimes is reporting that “Taiwan-based handset component makers including Silitech Technology, Ichia Technologies as well as ODM Wistron are expected to begin small volume production of RIM’s BlackBerry 10-based products in December.” Supposedly RIM will source handset components like the chassis and keyboards from Silitech and Ichia with subcontracting assembly to Wistron.
Thanks Pete for the tip!

I would hope for large volumes of BB10, not “small”.

Yeah, what’s with the “small volumes”????? That doesn’t seem right. RIM should be planning for at least 10-12 million units per month for the first quarter! These babies will be in very high demand.
