I am still waiting for some more confirmation but MobileSyrup has scored a document about the recently released OS 2.1 update for the 4G LTE BlackBerry PlayBook in Canada. RIM has really managed to cut down carrier approval since the OS 2.1.0.1032 update was released to Wi-Fi only PlayBooks at the beginning of October and then updated again at the end of October to 2.1.0.1088. Still I was hoping for a same day release now that RIM has separated the baseband from the OS.
Either way if you have a 4G LTE BlackBerry PlayBook in Canada I would recommend hitting that “check for updates” button now. Let us know what OS version you get and if possible send us a screenshot using the tip line.

I’m smashing the check update and still nothing.
Maybe tomorrow telus will release it. I’m wondering if your sim card has to be inserted to receive the update as I’m using wifi.

It’s November 19th and still no sign of this from Rogers .
Has anyone in Canada been able to pick up 2.1 on their LTE PlayBook?
