I am always amazed when I hear the stories of people typing papers and books on their BlackBerrys. The latest story is about Georgina Campbell, a mother of 3, who wrote her 55,600 word 200 page book “The Kickdown Girls” on her BlackBerry. She wrote the whole thriller about a group of girls growing up in South London in four months and is now has a publishing deal.
All in all its a pretty impressive story though now I am curious about the quality of a book written on any mobile phone. Still its an impressive accomplishment. Check out the full story here via the DailyMailUK. (Thanks for the tip @BlackBerryUK)

Hey guys, wake up! BlackBerry is not ANY mobile phone! The reason this is news is because folks are impressed!
Looks like she has a Curve too! Keyboard isn’t as nice as the 9900.

This story amazes me too. I wonder if anyone has ever written 200 pages on a touchscreen. This shows how productive a blackberry physical kb is. Great post.

Absolutely physical keyboards are the best. I’ve witten term papers with my Blackberry many times. I just hope they include many of the swipe up letters and swipe to erase features that are on the touch screen BB10 into the physical keyboard version.

Perhaps not. Have an app called lightning keyboard from Ottafone. Makes typing on a Storm much easier. I love the full touch Blackberry. Works for me
