Earlier today Rogers and CIBC had Canadian Olympic medalist, Simon Whitfield, make the first NFC mobile payment using a BlackBerry at Tim Hortons. He purchased a coffee if you were interested. 🙂 They also released this promo video from the event. Now we know the app is officially called the CIBC Mobile Payment app and will be available November 16th for the Bold 9900 and Curve 9360.
