RIM probably did not release these specs when the Dev Alpha’s came out so the press would not incorrectly consider them final devices. Either way Tim Neil at RIM has finally corrected this with a nice spec sheet breakdown between the two devices. He details how the BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha B has DLNA, Bluetooth 4.0 lE, and 5Ghz Wi-Fi. Also worth pointing out to everyone is that the BlackBerry 10 devices do not need to have “BlackBerry Data Services” since they work on any data plan since they do not use BIS in the traditional sense. Check out the spec sheet breakdown below:
Also worth noting is the different processors from OMAP 4460 to the OMAP 4470 in the Dev Alpha B which has the new SGX544 graphics chip. They also have slightly different bands of support for HSPA/UMTS. Kudos to Tim for laying this out!
