This is a nice addition for any developer thinking of creating a EPUB reader for the PlayBook or BlackBerry 10. RIM has announced that the Adobe Reader Mobile SDK for EPUB DRM (Digital Rights Management) is now supported on the PlayBook and BlackBerry 10. The Adobe Reader Mobile SDK is used by quite a few companies along with most libraries that lend out ebooks so it is a huge boon for apps like Overdrive and such. The support comes from the Adobe Reader Mobile SDK (RMSDK) maintained by Datalogics and renders EPUB and PDF for ebook apps and devices. Developers who have already licensed the RMSDK will get BlackBerry support included.
Check out the details on Datalogics website or on the RIM DevBlog

We have been working with RMSDK for over a year, and have experience with building e-readers for iPhone and Android. This additional of RMSDK for playbook is great !!!
