Box Integrated Storage Solution Coming to BlackBerry 10

box bb10

We have heard about super apps before. In 2010, the concept of a super app was introduced as being seamless, integrated, contextualized and efficient. The guys at Box are planning some tight integration of their cloud storage app for BlackBerry 10 and it sounds like it could be a great way to boost your storage capacity and keep the files that matter most at your fingertips. If its as seamless as hinted at in the following video it sounds pretty awesome to me. I love the idea of being able to store pictures, documents and videos without worrying about filling up the device storage limit. Although, with hot swappable microSD card support in BB10, you can easily multiply your storage that way. Box is still offering 50GB of free storage if you sign up through their PlayBook app. Check out the video and let us know if you use cloud storage and what you think of Box’s BB10 plans.

  1. These guys have supported PlayBook soon after launch. I like their attitude and I will continue support them as they support the BlackBerry platform 🙂

Awesome to hear about their implementation within the File Manager of BB10. It’s what I’ve been pushing for — what Files & Folders has done for the PlayBook!

  2. This is awesome to hear. I love the integration with my PB and it’ll be even better on BB10 it looks.

  3. Nice… But its time for action getting a lil tired of all the lip.

  4. If they can make it so the OS/App instantly uploads my pictures just like Android and Google+, I may even consider paying for more storage!

  5. I love box and their support for the blackberry (RIM)! I can’t wait to get my hands out a BB10 device!!
