RIM has announced the winners of their 2012 BlackBerry Developer Community Awards today. These awards have come a long way since RIM started them at the first BlackBerry DevCon. I would never have imagined that RIM would have a “Best Open Source Contribution” back then. I have to say congrats the winners which you can find in the video directly below and announcement at the end of the article.
Also of interest is RIMs announcement of the first BlackBerry Elite Developers which is highlighting BlackBerry development advocates around the world. You can nominate them or check out the initial round here at their Hall of Fame. Keep up the good work!
