I am still trying to wrap my head around this one but Daniel Bigham’s latest app has a different take on keyboards for the PlayBook. What it does is allow you to type up text using your PC’s keyboard which is automatically transferred to the PC Keyboard app on your PlayBook when it is running. You can then copy it to your clipboard and paste it into another app.
I am really hoping that some new SDKs allow Daniel to extend this to running even outside the app but it does work for now. Check out PC Keyboard for $0.99 in App World.

Interesting, but kind of pointless isn’t it? If you have a PC why not just type out what you need on that rather than sending it to the PlayBook first? Can anybody think of a use for this app?

I don’t know Matt. I thought it was interesting so I would mention it and see if anyone could come up with one

I actually think this is a pretty cool app, and I think I might buy it if only to have more of my Facebook and Twitter posts (through Blaq) show up as having been posted from my PlayBook.
