RIM’s Naveenan M. announced on the DevBlog that Sencha has released an update to their Sencha Touch 2 Mobile JavaScript framework. This new update put out today adds better support for BlackBerry smartphones with touchscreen including the PlayBook. This update also allows you to develop for BlackBerry 10 with support for future BlackBerry 10 smartphones.
Either way if you have been looking for a JavaScript Framework for your BlackBerry 10 development you should definitely check out Sencha along with jQuery. RIM plans on following up this announcement with a series of "tutorials, articles, best practices and samples so keep an eye out for them!

I’m really confused by this announcement on the devblog…
Sencha has not announced any new release recently and the last one didn’t bring any sort of improvement to BlackBerry apps…
They’ve recently introduced a beta of the next version, but it focuses on charts.
