Wall street is not looking forward to RIM’s Q1 2013 earnings call tonight at 5PM. Thorsten Heins said that RIM has some challenging quarters ahead until BlackBerry 10 during the last earnings call. His follow up update hinted that RIM might even post an operating loss for Q1 2013 which would be their first since BlackBerry really took off. Most of what we are looking for is if RIM will be able to keep things together until they launch BlackBerry 10. That would give them a strong fighting chance but they need to be in a strong financial position to make it a success.
Stay tuned on BerryReview for the details as they come out or feel free to listen in to the conference call yourself with RIM’s webcast.
