After being treated to some leaked data yesterday on the rumored L-Series (full touchscreen) and N-Series (QWERTY keyboard) devices we have another set of slides. This time N4BB has scored some mockup’s of what could be BBM on BlackBerry 10. Nothing shown contradicts the wireframes and details Shiladitya Sircar, Director of R&D BBM at RIM, showed off at BlackBerry 10 Jam 2012 which is good to see. The mockups seem to use the similar shout out boxes and design of the current BBM chats with some Cascades tweaks.
Another thing noted in the slides is the fact that RIM has opened up BBM to themes to save battery life by using a darker theme and colors. The slides claim that with a black theme battery use can be lowered 25% especially with OLED screens that are naturally black. Check the slides out for yourself and let us know what you think!
