Its interesting to see RIM supporting more and more Android functionality to make it more enticing for developers to port their apps to the PlayBook and eventually BlackBerry 10. The most notable API support added in the latest PlayBook OS 2.1.0 developer beta build is the ability to use the In App Billing API. This allows developers to sell digital goods inside their PlayBook Ported Android app using App World. There are some limitations and minimal code changes required but most are minimal compromises.
