Galaxy on Fire 2 HD blazing onto BlackBerry PlayBook

Game developer Fish Labs showed off a spectacular game, Galaxy on Fire 2 HD, during the BlackBerry 10 Jam keynote as a demonstration of how easy it is to port to PlayBook. It took them less than a day, and, in one case, only 3 lines of code to enable key features. This is an important testament to the ease of developing for the BlackBerry QNX environment that is the foundation of BB10, and RIM’s future.

  1. Ok then. When is it coming? I do recall them saying how easy it was to port over Lara Croft during DevCon last year. The game showed up 6mos later.

  2. Oh, end of May. That’s what I get for reading without my glasses. 😀
