Google Drive Already Works With Files & Folders on the PlayBook

Files and folders

Many of you may have heard that Google launched their new cloud storage solution Google Drive today with 5GB free for all users. The Innovatology crew let us know on Twitter that they tested their Files & Folders PlayBook file manager app with the new service and preliminary testing shows that it works like a charm. It seems like Google has simply extended the Google Docs standard and API to also encompass the larger Google Drive.

Its nice to see that Google Drive will probably work with apps that already support Google Docs. Check out Files & Folders in App World.
