You may have noticed iOS users addicted to the game Temple Run recently. SolverLabs has decided to capitalize on that success by releasing a very similar 3D game called Tomb Escape that runs on some BlackBerry 7 devices. My guess is it needs the latest BlackBerry 7 devices for the 3D graphics and tilting game action but who knows. The game is totally free and runs nicely on my 9900. It is also compatible with the Bold 9930, Porsche P’9981, and Torch 9810. I am not sure why the 9850/9860 is not getting some love but hopefully it will soon.

Check out Tomb Escape free in App World. Kudos to Jason for sending this in via PocketBerry

Got the game yesterday. Works very well on my Bold 9930 – no lag. Highly recomended!

Could you please not say an app is available for OS7 when the reality is that it’s only available for certain devices running OS7? I’m tired of seeing a headline like this and then finding out it’s not available for the 9850/9860. At least indicate if an OS7 device is not able to download.

Totally my fault. I saw it worked on my 9900 and then saw BlackBerry 7.0+ support and didn’t look further. I will have it updated.

It seems like they have changed the price to paid. I hate when companies do that.
