One of the annoyances with the Camera app on BlackBerry is the shutter sound. When I am taking pictures in public, it feels like when the shutter goes off, all eyes turn to see who is taking a picture. Well, Toysoft the maker of some of my favourite apps is at it again with a solution. This time with SilentCam, an app that silences the stock shutter sound on your OS5.0+ device. It is a very lightweight app that takes over as your camera app. To learn more about the features, keep reading.
It is a separate app from Camera, but runs just as well. It has a vast amount of settings, allowing for a good deal of customization, unlike some of the other programs that just take a screencap of your screen silently. The zoom feature works great, and the setting the number of pictures higher, lets it snap as fast as it can, to make sure you get at least one photo you can use. You can find your copy in AppWorld for $0.99.

And remember please take in to consideration the local laws and regulations when using your camera in public places.

You do know that iPhone and Android phones are the same in that respect? The sound is required by law. Just saying….
