RIM rolled out an update today for all of their official IM clients; Google Talk, Yahoo Messenger and Windows Live Messenger. We have no idea what the new version brings. Let us know if you spot something!
You can pick up the updated version 3.0.0.19 in App World or directly at the links below:
If its not showing up in your App World, do try to clear the cache!

Only thing I notice with Google Talk is that my friends don’t show up. What up with that?

Online contacts in gtalk dont show.
All contacts show as offline
But when sending chat to someone who is showing online on pc, the chat gets sent.
Guess some bug which is not showing the contacts as online
Pls solve @ the earliest

craps…files getting bigger and bigger, but yet there is no enhancement done and you don’t know what they are fixing!?

Unfortunately the upgrade is a disaster. As others have reported, all online contacts show as offline. It would be nice if they at least posted a comment acknowledging the issue and that they are working to resolve.

My contacts are showing up as online, so it can’t just be the v3 by itself….

after a few housr I have about 30% of my contact list showing ….. if I sign out and back in it goes to ZERO again
this is total BS and yes I’m 100% sure its the v3 update

Your right. I think RIM spotted something wrong with it as well, and Gtalk version 3 seems to be pulled off the appworld now…

After I using os 7.1.0.342 from telkomsel + update new YM v3.0.0.19, the problem show can’t login invalid user name&pass
but using PC I can login on my YM, any solution from RIM?
