Jason let us know that they have released v1.9.2 of the very popular BBSAK (BlackBerry Swiss Army Knife) desktop utility. This new release adds official support for OS 7+ along with devices like the 9930, 9850, & 9350. They have also done a bunch of work on optimizing the code to speed up the process of loading, connecting, and backing up your device.

Tried to install this new version on my computer but I got this error message:
“Unable to install because a newer version of this product is already installed.”
Had to uninstall version 1.9.11 first and then installed 1.9.2 and it worked. My Guess is the ’11′ is confusing the installer.
Great tool (but minor annoyance)

Well, it would be right to think the .11 is a newer version. I’m guessing it should have been .1.1
