PlayBook Citrix Receiver Bluetooth Keyboard

If you are like me you want the just announced BlackBerry Mini Keyboard for the BlackBerry PlayBook ASAP. It is available for preorder now and is available on March 23rd but until then RIM has given us something to wet our appetite. They have posted up a video showing off the BlackBerry Mini Keyboard in use with Citrix Receiver on a BlackBerry PlayBook. This gives you a great idea of how the usability of the device works as a laptop replacement. Check out the video below and let us know what you think!

  1. I will wait until the price comes down

    Like it always does!

  2. It’s kind of thicker than I was hoping it would be.

I’m kind of surprised he didn’t toush the screen, basically when windows 8 comes out that’s what people will be doing on their laptops (typing on keys and touching the screen to navigate). RIM has already done it. Sometimes they just miss opportunities to show off and I don’t understand why.

Is it because they are too much an engineering company?

  3. I’m sold, though the price is a little step; RIM how about another $20 bucks off the pre-order price…$79 isn’t out to lunch…please.

  4. Let’s support RIM! Awesome and solis looking product, I love it!!!

  5. Although pricey (and I will buy it) can you please add USB hosting and DLNA on the PB. Also, then release the dock that leaked that has the full size USB ports, HDMI and add full size SD card support thanks!!!

  6. I don’t think they are going to sell a ton at $120, probably not until they do the inevitable price drop… Especially considering how late they were to release this, a lot of people probably already bought alternatives.

  7. I want this but will wait until the price comes down as well.

  8. Why not preorder from thesource like it did. $99. Can’t wait to get it.

  9. RIMM should offer a package deal with this keyboard with the PlayBook for busineses and put this in their commercials ASAP.

    • Totally agree with you! They should do package deals ala Xbox. I’m desperately waiting for a dock with HDMI out, full size SD card slot and about 3 full size USB ports so I can transfer photos to my PB and to FB directly from my PB. I know eventually and they prob are working on adding DLNA and USB hosting.
