Files & Folders Bringing SugarSync Integration to the PlayBook

Files and Folders Sugarsync

The popular third party PlayBook file manager, Files & Folders, has had integration with third party services like Box and DropBox added and now they are working on SugarSync. This is a huge deal for me since I find that SugarSync is way better served for my purposes than DropBox and others. Luis pointed out to me that Files & Folders confirmed on March 2nd that SugarSync integration was coming soon and over this past weekend said the integration works. They are currently performing “final tests, then minor OS2 quirk fixing and performance tuning.”

Can’t wait for this to launch!

  1. fine, but I left sugarsync because they refused to develop for PB and I won’t go back.

    • I can understand it, brother, but I have 30gb of free storage and a Bold with the app on it. It is much easier for me to stay with them than to move all my stuff somewhere.

And it is their loss really. It just proves our point that the demand is there.

  2. Frankly there’s a file manager called “Stuff” that’s way better and does Dropbox like a dream.

  3. You can sign up on SugarSync using the following link to get extra 5000MB (10GB) space, enough for 5-10 movies:
