We have received a few tips from readers over the weekend that TELUS has begun rolling out OS 7.1.0.267 for the BlackBerry Bold 9900 and Torch 9810. I think that may be the latest OS even with leaks for the 9810 but I did not have a chance to verify. If you are on TELUS you can just plug your phone into a PC with Desktop Manager or go to www.blackberry.com/update to get the update.
Thanks Scott for the screenshot and to everyone else who sent in the tip!

Nice. Hopefully Rogers follows soon after.

I suppose AT&T customers can expect this sometime next year. They always seem to lag behind. And I’m sure they will have the WiFi Hotspot feature disabled until you fork over their extortion fees.

I manage a lot of BB phones, I first thing yesterday I updated my personal 9860 to 7.1 easy. But since then I have tried to update two 9900′s no update availible, a 9810 not availible and another 9860 and 7.1 was not offered for any of those all AFTER I did my 9860. Did Telus pull the 7.1 update???

I am wondering why it’s necessary for Vodafone Holland to “test” OS7.1 for 3 months now…. Vodafone sucks.

Stay away from this update. My phone now randomly, without warning stops making sounds until a battery pull. My phone is now as useful as a brick as I never know if my alarm will go off, or if I’m missing important calls and texts.
Repeat: stay away!
