We told you yesterday that RIM had detailed some of the new features and improvements in PlayBook OS 2.0’s Browser but it was hard to describe them. Adam @RIM decided to take on that challenge and show off the PlayBook 2.0’s improvements over OS 1.0 in a side by side video. He takes it through 3 different HTML5 graphics tests to show you the potential of these improvements and why HTML5 has a serious future for apps. Check it out below:

One of the highest needed improvements from 1.0…. Hopefully the browser crashing has been mostly fixed too. I ran into that a lot on 1.0 builds…

Yes it was but the browser still have loading issues. Or maybe it’s me.

I honestly don’t find the browser any faster and I prefer “simple browser”. Seems to work a little better.
