Smarter Apps has picked up the torch while Google dropped the ball. Smarter Apps has released a native Google+ client for BlackBerry Smartphones that gives you quite a bit of functionality in a free app. Their current beta is pretty advanced with most of the major features I need covered with more coming.
Features include:
- View your stream, post to your stream, checkin, upload photos to your stream
- View your photos and photos from people in your circles
- Add, edit, delete people and circles
- View and edit your own Google+ profile
- Support for all BlackBerry OS 5 and above devices except the BlackBerry PlayBook
They don’t yet have the Instant Upload and Google+ Messenger features but hopefully they are coming. I am pretty impressed with what Smarter Apps has done and I have to give them serious props for making this app. You can pick up Smarter Apps Google+ beta for BlackBerry free in App World.

Gonna give this a try. I wonder if it has push notifications … that’s really my biggest problem with G+ as a BB user, I never regularly login to see what’s going on.
