I hope RIM didn’t just fall into a trap set by the tech press and that native PIM really matters to consumers…

I agree PIM isn’t essential. I think. They want to show off the integration but again the ads just show pictures so they are unclear. They should have a voice over that explains the stuff. They. Need a new marketing guy.

And they need a campaign for SMEs. It’s great to be able to plug the PB into a projector and to use the BB as a remote control. Much better than just carrying an iPad and passing it around in a conference room…

That’s true and I really think they need to stick with the business side of blackberry while throwing in stuff like BBM, Angry Birds, cut the rope etc.
People that use blackberries even as consumers like the business profile of the device.
Have to say I just set up my exchange account and Gmail and I think I’m going to like having this with me at night and putting the phone aside. Love the calendar.

The thing I don’t get is why do we have to set up the accounts again? And why is there 2 sets of PIM apps on the PB now, with one looking very outdated
