We know that the BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.0 is right around the corner so its nice to see RIM encouraging training of sales staff. Denny sent us over an email they have been sending to sales people to learn about the BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.0. As I have said a few times before RIM realized they needed to ramp up their retail efforts even with simpler things like a demo mode on PlayBooks and training sales people on the device.
Here is the email Best Buy is sending out to employees:
The BlackBerry PlayBook tablet now with PlayBook OS 2.0 brings together the best of BlackBerry communications, powerful productivity tools, and your customers’ favorite applications, movies, and music to help them make the most out of every moment.

I notice a reference to “your customer’s favorite apps”. I hope this is a sign that we’ll be seeing Netflix, Skype and others.
