RIM caused quite a stir when they released their BlackBerry Bold “Night Bikes” commercial. Many of you expressed in the comments that you were interested in your own Night Bike. While a few commercial solutions were mentioned in our comments PDXchip pointed out that user Adobi has created an “Instructable” on how to create your own Night Bike with glow in the dark paint. This is definitely not for the faint of heart but more of a fun project!
Check out Adobi’s instructions here and check out the RIM commercial again below to see what I mean:

Definitely liking the new commercials showing off the weather, augmented reality and camera functions of the Blackberry 7 phones. Throw in some more functions and you have a winner.

No problem. That one can be a gotcha word.

I am biker btw and covering up the front gears in…anything but grease is a bad idea because if you can’t turn it smoothly then you’re in deep trouble…
Also, in the commercial the bikes have the carbon fiber wheel type which is over a grand for the pair. It looks very nice in the commercial because the spokes are really wide, big and few in number.
Just curious if the wheels were covered partially, wouldn’t that look cool too?
I have to admit, I love the idea but surly I wouldn’t strip down my bike, prime, paint and coat at any cost…
