RIM Hosting “The Future of Web Development” Webcast on January 17th

BlackBerry 10

WebWorks and web devs working on BlackBerry apps should mark their calendars. PDM forwarded us an email RIM sent out to developers announcing a new webcast on “The Future of Web Development.” RIM says this is to prepare for BlackBerry DevCon Europe and give a taste of what is to come. The webcast is open to all if you want to join. The details from the email are below and you can register at this link.

In the run up to BlackBerry® DevCon Europe, we wanted to whet your appetite with a webcast on ‘The Future of Web Development‘.

This webcast is open to all, but if you are interested in finding out about how to create standalone web applications that you can deploy to a BlackBerry® smartphone or a BlackBerry® PlayBook™ tablet, this is a must.

Laurent Hasson, Technical Director of the BlackBerry Web Platform, will take us through the BlackBerry web vision. The webcast will include a taster of the content in BlackBerry DevCon Europe sessions, such as how to build HTML5 apps with Native capabilities using BlackBerry® WebWorks™ and how to monetize them using BlackBerry App World™.

Date: Tuesday 17th January, 2012
Time: 4:00pm GMT/5:00pm CET
